For our Client, we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Software Engineer (Tools Support)
Location: remote / KrakówBranch: project in the automotive industryJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: long-term cooperation (the first contract till the end of 2024)Rate: 110 - 140 PLN/hStart date: ASAP, max notice period 1 monthWorking hours: 2 shifts work - hours: 1 person from 8 am to 4 pm, the other from 2 pm to 10 pm interchangeable shifts between 2 team members, once a quarter there may be weekend work – a planned system upgradeRemote work: 100% remoteMethodology: Scrum

Project:Wind River Cloud Studio has been chosen by our Client as its development platform for its Active Safety and User Experience Automotive Products. Global Software Services will be the service management partner for Wind River Studio. Service Delivery for Cloud-Native Product Engineering Tools for over 5000 software engineers located in EUR and US. What will you do:

• L1 to L3 incident management and problem solving for software tools supporting the full development lifecycle of Autonomous driving solutions for the biggest Car Manufacturers in the world. (work in shifts, possibility to work remotely)
• Drive continuous improvement in ITSM processes and tooling to achieve industry best IT service delivery standards.
• Automate user and application lifecycle maintenance tasks through adopting Site Reliability Engineering best practices
• Report on ITSM OKR’s for service quality, user onboarding and compliance to Aptiv development processes.
• Work closely with Architecture team to design and implement continuous service enhancements to achieve target OKR’s.
• Create a knowledge repository of runbooks, support guides etc to aid pro-active support to Wind River users.
• Contribute to set up and monitoring of Cloud, FinOps & Security monitoring tools including Datadog and AWS Cloud Health
• Deliver training, coaching and guidance on engineering tools to users

What we expect from you:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent (M)  • 6 years experience in software development or ITSM role (M).  • 2 years experience in supporting least 2 of: GIT, GERRIT, Jira, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Artifactory, Polarion, Doors, Datadog, • Strong Knowledgeable in ITSM processes e.g. ITIL • Strong knowledge in IT automation technologies such as terraform, ansible, chef, puppet, cloud formation • Experience in the development of automated configuration management processes and procedures (preferably in the automotive industry) • Energetic team player with strong communication and people skills. • Knowledge or experience with agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or XP. (M) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to haves:• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) is a distinct advantage.
